Ebb & Flow

A reflection:

You are not stagnant.

Your energy ebbs and flows—pushing toward growth, pulling back to rest.

You’re not in a rush.

You don’t owe anyone any piece of yourself you’re not willing to give.

Make your own rules. Set your boundaries.

Live authentically.

Appreciate how good it feels to truly know yourself—

to love yourself and the magic that lives within.

It’s okay to outgrow versions of yourself—

to outgrow people, places, and things.

Embrace the shift, and slowly, you’ll draw in new relationships and experiences you never thought possible.

After all, you are not stagnant.

Your energy ebbs and flows.

In practice:

Since becoming a mom and coming into my own as an artist, I’m constantly reminded that just because some days or projects move more slowly than others, it doesn’t mean progress isn’t happening.

Rushing and reaching for the next best thing only leads to exhaustion.

There is so much to learn when we go slow—so much to notice and explore.

Rest when you need. Move when you feel inspired.

Lean into the surges of energy and the quiet that follows.

In a world obsessed with “productivity” and pushing to the limit, it’s a beautiful act of resistance to live in tune with your body’s natural rhythm—to live in harmony with the earth’s energy and learn from the lessons each season brings.

So wherever you are right now — growing, resting, or somewhere in between — know that you’re still moving forward.

After all, you are not stagnant.

Your energy ebbs and flows.
